i spent 8 hours in coll today. Yes, you may ask, it IS a Saturday, and NO, I dont have class today. i went for the Animangaki with Yee Ding and her friend, ad Nicky! Because the Cosplay was scheduled at 4 pm, I had to wait with Yee Ding and her friend til 4, just to watch the Cosplay! We did all sorts of stuff today, including playing loads of games, just for the fun of it, and I swear half my $ was eaten up by it! XD I bought a paper fan for RM10, which was actually imported from Japan. I still have the fan from last year's Nose High School visit, but I obviosuly have no idea where it is now, so I decided to get another one :D This one is red in colour, with pictures of pigs on it! LOL I actually saw a blue one, with the word KAZE 風 on it. (which is the kanji for wind) Just add a 'shan' (mountain) word on top, and the word will become ARASHI!!! SEE: 嵐 !! ANYWAY.. that's all because my mind is too ARASHI-FIED! -erases arashi for the moment and inserts anime and manga goodness-

I got quite a lot of stuff as prizes from games today, including an origami, anime drawings, and figurines (including a bellsprout figurine XD this reminds me of my pokemon days! I still play pokemon on my gameboy EVERY YEAR!!)

There were not many interesting stalls, but still, it was better than C2AGE. only 1 stall sold a few anime dvds. But the Cosplay was great. There was more variety of characters, but the characters were not very alike though.

We went for an anime screening about a war situation, forgot the title ...(again?!) It's really sad, the boy's mom died in the bombing, and then at the end of the story, his sis (small kid, poor thing...) died of malnutrition. they had no where to go, and the brother had to resort to stealing :(

Then, we went for lunch at Medan, and then went for ANOTHER anime screening. This time, it's about a small piano tensai. He's cute!! Brown, spiky hair!!! LOL And it was funny!!

Fianlly, 4 pm came and we went to see the Cosplay. the Naruto guy from C2AGE was also there lol. And the Tamaki guy also! haha~ Cosplay was fun... I love admiring all their costumes! -wonders... where do they get it from...- I had to leave before the end though :X

i FINALLY passed my driving test!! after a gruelling 3 months of lessons!! All that stupid mistakes while driving always seemed funny/hilarious to me but, aparently not for the instructor. XD I remember knocking the poles a total of 3 times, and one of them included stepping in the middle of the brake and the accelerator, and then my foot finally decided that the one on the right was the brake *eeks* -loud accelerating sound and finally BRAKE- i hope no one saw it XD

My on the road experience included driving onto a kerb, and wearing the poor gearbox out. And also dangerous lane-changing!! (obviously it would be EXTREMELY wise not to drive near me)

I have no idea how I managed to pass actually. Maybe it was just luck! The first time, the JPJ guy was really sour-faced, and i was really hoping for the best. he didnt say a word... until i turned too fast and went into the opposite lane, i can tell you, his bomb burst! he started going on about having to go slow while turning, and something about YOU CANNOT GO INTO THE OTHER LANE... (me: -thinking- s*** damnit... darn car) and he ended his speech with: FAHAM? (me: -squeaking- fahamm...) And he actually said he was gonna let me pass IF i didnt do that disastrous turning... I thought I'd failed when my speed meter reached 50 for a second (and teh darn car was so hard to slow down!!!) and i accidentally skipped a red light *oops*

The second time, was A LOT better! Why? Because there was a traffic jam!! And that means no forgetting when to change the gear, cos i had to stop after every few minutes XD i tell you! that JPJ guy was so impatient! there's a traffic jam for god's sake, how the hell do you expect me to squeeze into the lane!! (unless, of course you gurantee that you wont fail me if i do so) And then, when I was doing my balancing when going up the slope, he was like: 'cepatlah! tak mau jalan ah?' (me: *thinking* wth no patience ah?!) after that was pretty okay... til some stupid car stopped in front of me, and I had to brake. And the typical blur me forgot to switch back to gear 1 after braking. That impatient JPJ guy, without a word, changed my gear in a mili-second, and of course, I was still in my blur state. (mind: oh yeahhh...) And thennnn.... just before the disastrous turning, was A TRAFFIC JAM!!! YAY!! so i didnt need to slow down!! wohoo~ And so... that's how I passed!

I take it as a relief! no more disastrous driving lessons anymore!! (which also ruins the days i reserve for major dl jobs XD)

I FINALLY FINISHED BAMBINO!!

Yes, i did finish it on Saturday as I planned to. i watched 4 cds in a day!! XDDDD
i couldn't have resisted waiting for Sunday anyway, so might as well watch the second half in a day!! LOL

before I go on to spoilers, i have to say tht BAMBINO is really worth watching!!! I never thought I would enjoy a drama without idol drama worthy scenes, this has to be the first one!! (okay, Jun's EXTREMELY cute here, but the storyline is REALLY WORTH WATCHING FOR) All the characters are lovable, and I do mean ALL!! From the friendly guy in the hall (oh dear, I forgot his name again, i only remember it starts with a 'N'), to the helpful souls in the kitchen, and yes, the ever-so-quiet Uda san!! LOL
And of course, bambi's soul and spirit is something you cannot not love!! XD AND AND bambi's hard work!!!!!!!

now for spoilers... since i watchied it all at once, i cant really remember all the details, BUT i will rant about my fave parts :)

YES!! BAMBI IS SUPER CUTE AS A WAITER!!! and the smiling part is soooo cuteeee :)
i swear Jun is soooo cute trying to smile!! It kinda looked like a squarish smile XD

And the dessert part! (when getting the call in the morning to go to the kitchen, i swear bambi was sooooo cuteeeeeee!!) getting to Uda san was really hard, but Bambi did it!! And also his hard work, working after hours to get his egg white pudding right! That's Bambi's style!!! (although he referred to Udasan's book XD) I really think the whole dessert part is the BEST!!

When he finally returned to being a waiter, i think he did a real good job. He really got that AI feeling! and then... *fast forward* bambi finally gets his chance to cook in the kitchen :) the funniest part is when he thinks that masashi san woke up late but when bambi arrived at the kitchen, he realises that he is the last LOL

I love it when bambi finally gets to cook his own pasta. one thing about this drama is that when you watch you gte so absorbed and kind of attached to the characters (well, at least for me XD)

Finally, bambi goes to Italy... this part is kinda weird, cause bambi shouldnt have that much of money XD But anyway, it is a nice ending!! And Jun's italian is near perfect! (at least the accent is XD)

I love bambino. I kinda got influenced by the whole drama. And i also felt how Bambi felt while watching it as well. i want to REWATCH!!!!!

The internet is still disappointing for me :X DLs still not working. Can only DL songs though. I came online yesterday just to get WE CAN MAKE IT!!! This song is my latest addiction!! All because of Bambino!! XD i put that song on repeat for the whole night!! Thsi weekend, I'm gonna rewatch Arashi's performance of WE CAN MAKE IT! in my Time concert DVD :D *cannot imagine what will happen after that*

AND SEASON IS ALSO TERRIFIC!! why am I addicted to so many songs at once....

anyway, latest update on what I watched on BAMBINO:

Bambi was sooooooo emo about leaving the restaurant and going back to study. He didn't want to leave at all!! And the rice he made for all of them before he rushed for the plane, i bet it's UMAI!! Judging from the expressions of the people there :D

AND THEN Bambi seriously shocked me when he stopped uni to go work in the restaurant! I really think his mum is so understanding to let him pursue his road to being a chef. gambate!!

Poor Bambi had to break up with Eri to pursue his dreams...

this one's really funny!! bambi was EXTREMELY CUTE when he ran into the restaurant so happily and excited!! And when he was presented with the waiter's uniform, the expression on face!! hahahahaahah!!!

that's all for now before I continue watching BAMBINO XDDD I'm aiming to finish it by saturday!! =]

Another day without onlining at home....

BUT ANYWAY.. I think I'm happy that way. Because if I didnt MIA from my internet, I wouldnt be able to watch 2 CDs of BAMBINO yesterday!!! XDD

I loveeeee Bambino!!! From the pics in my mags, I though Jun looked better as Domyoji in HYD but seeing him in the drama, made me go into -crazy and yelling the house down- mode again! There is a bit of Domyoji-ness in Bambi but... very limited. I love his spirit although he got beaten up by that other cook-san. (i really felt bad seeing him getting beaten up so badly T__T)

and then after that when bambi tried to keep up with that cook-san (i forgot his name AGAIN!!), it was easy to see that his energy supply had TOTALLY ran out!! (pity him larh!!!!)

The sadest part was when he cut his hand accidentally!! OMG I knew something like that would happen when I saw the title of the ep! (the jap title!! YAY i finally understand SOME kanji!!) And he just DIDNT want to go to the hospital just because he wante dto continue working!! (I wanted to knock him on the head at that time but his willingness really got to me) And he went back to wash the plates after that. ( I would never do that actually, in fact, I dont even think I would last longer than Bambi in the first place. )

And there was this part where Bambi was presenting (yes, i am using this word for a reason) the prawns to cook-san and he was SMILING SO WIDE, I swear I was yelling and squealing!! (can't take it when darling Jun smiles!!!!!!!!), but then the cook scolded him and said it was his job. =_=
The part where he was 'practicing' really made me start cheering for Bambi to ganbare!! He was like taking an empty tray and pretending to take stuff and yelling "Bambi! Take the prawn, tomato, etc." and then answering himself "HAI!!". the best part came on the next day. that cook-san was super shocked to see Bambi ready with everything!! Even when he was yelling "BAMBI! this... that...", bambi just casually answered "its on the table..." and when he wanted to cook the passta, he was so surprised to see the pasta already being cooked! *cheers a million times for Bambi!!* THE SUPER BEST PART was when cook-san asked bambi to gow ash the dishes, and then Bambi who was cutting the prawns or something else, not too sure, said "Chotto, kudasai!!" (please wait), my heart was beating toki toki and then cheered for Bambi!! haha...

Will continue with disc three tomorrow XD

i spent the past two days drama mugging again XDD AND also my much awaited dose of AnS and MMA!! OMG I love AnS ep 7!! There's this lady who's so enthuastic over vegetables!! (and thanks to her, I managed to learn names of vegetables in japanese =]) that ep was sooo funny!!

AnS 8 wasnt as good as ep 7 but ohno's classic look in it is just irresistable!!!! and nino was funny too!! XD

And finally i watched MMA 108 and a random ep of GnA. Also evry funny!!

and i saw this clip talking about Sho's snoring XDD i was laughing my head off the whole time and almost choked over my drink *gulps*

ooohhhhh yesss!! i watched arashi's One concert, and almost the whole of teh first disc of their 2008 AAA concert! i'm liking their solos more and more these days!! For instance, i watched ohno's classsic take me faraway perf more than 3 times in a week!! AND NIJI!!!

ahem. I obviously intended to further arashi-fy my holiday, but... was held off by the number of dramaas I had to watch...

Sunday again. I'm bored actually. It's the feeling of 'just woke up from sleep'.

Tomorrow i've got my driving test. I'm actually kinda scared but I dont feel it. Hopefully I dont do any stupid mistakes. I wanna finish this once and for all!!! I'm really sick of driving lessons! I had so many this holiday!!!!! GRAHH~~

I finally finished Hana Kimi this morning!! I like it actually! The students are so funny!! And I think it is better than the TW version!! The ending is kinda nice actually although Sano did not confess his secret love to Mikano, but he did it indirectly!!!! Nakatsu is cute!! And he's so funny everytime he nosebleeds XDDD It was nice to watch!!

Anyway, last night, I accientally stumbled upon some group singing Show's Ge Zhong Qiang Shou (hot shot)in this local talent show called Ultimate Power Group. As a loyal and ever-supporting Show fan, I have to comment on that perf. It was horrible, I might be harsh but it's true. i was really disappointed when I watched the performance. They totally changed Show's dance steps, Show's complicated dance steps, that make all his perfs look nice, to real simple ones . And, of course, the fact that they did not attempt to do Show's ever famous 'wu ying jiao' totally disappointed me. maybe it is too hard, cos he does more than 200 steps in a few seconds, but this song is just not complete without it. Fine, dancing aside, the song!! They made the song sound 'rock-ish'!! WTF I had this weird feeling when I was watching the perf. Why did my fave song, Ge Zhong Qiang Shou, sound so weird? (although i havent heard it for a long time due to arashi-ing) But it had so many rock beats and that totally distorted the song!! This song is a dance song WTF how can it be changed!! And this song is the tehme song of Hot Shot. Cant imagine it being distorted like this!! BAHH and the host praised their perf for having 'style'.

I finally watched the ending for BOF.

I have to say I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the last ep.

When Jan Di gave Jun Pyo the lunchbox, and later Jun Pyo found out that it wasnt Yumi that made it, he didn't even throw it back at Yumi like in HYD!! That's so not like Domyoji!!! WHERE IS HIS DOMYOJI-NESS?! i was yelling when I watched this part. and he even consoled that Yumi!!! WTF

HOW DID JUN PYO REMEMBER EVERYTHING?
This was kind of stupid. jan Di showed him the necklace. And that Jun Pyo didn't even feel anything. Then Jan Di went and threw it into the swimming pool. And then jumped in, waiting for him to save her. GRHHH. I think this part is really stupid lah. And suddenly after this he remembers everything.

At least HYD reenacted the lift episode. And the ending was FAR BETTER!!! I prefer rewatching HYD. BAHH~

And the ending. It was left hanging. I don't think there will be a BOF Final either.

About Jun Pyo though, he seems repressed!! Cos Domyoji should be the real bad tempered guy who keeps on beating people up and he looks around for stuff to 'destroy' or people for that matter, when he's in a bad mood! I lost track of the things he destroyed and the people he beat up in HYD. Jun Pyo, on the other hand, doesn't beat people up often! Hmm... and Jun Pyo is not determined enough!!! Domyoji would have done ANYTHING for Makino!!!!!!

Rui... I dont know whether Oguri Shun looks better or not but both of them are good looking!! But I prefer the Rui in HYD though. BECAUSE HE IS LESS ANNOYING!!! I felt like killing Rui millions of times in BOF (forgot his korean name la. I'm watching the chinese subs version so dont blame meeeee....). I have to resist taking a parang from god knows where and aiming it at him!!! GET LOST RUIIII!!!! He's ALWAYS there whenever I'm yelling for Jun Pyo to appear. BAHHH~ (message to laura: get ready your parang also XD I think we use an electric saw instead) But actually Rui is quite kesian la. Poor thing. All lonely and everything. He should have chosen Shizuka instead! Leave Makino alone!!!!

Anyway... OHHHHHHHH!!! Soujiro's Korean version is soooooo cuteeee!!! YESHHHH!! Kim Bum is the cutest of the F4!!! Yi Jung Yi Jung!!! I am practically yelling and squealing everytime he comes ons creen! And he is such a gentleman!!!!!!! But one thing I regret is that the ep in HYD where Domyoji and Makino were looking for him and Yuuki was cut short :[ bahh~

And the last one... Akira. Okay. I cant remember his korean name either. But he is kinda cute as well! He seriously looks better than the one in HYD!! and eyes are big and cute when he stares at you and when he looks up!!

Story wise... I think BOF follows the manga more than HYD. BUT i seriously loved the first half, till Jun Pyo saved Jan Di from Junpei. After that, when he went to NY and all that, I didnt really like teh story line anymore. i think HYD 2 is far better!! AND THAT RUI!!! WHY DID HE HAVE TO TAKE HER TO HIS FREN'S HOUSE!!!! AND THEN WHEN JUN PYO BOUGHT THE SHOES FOR JAN DI, SHE ALREADY LEFT!!! AND THAT 'other girl' (forgot her name la) HAD TO TAKE IT!!!! AND THEN THE WEDDING PIC WITH JAN DI!!! I swear it almost killed me!!!! AND JUN PYO LOST HIS MEMORY BECAUSE OF RUI!! bahhhhhh~ -kills rui-

Just two days ago, I innocently went to KL town just for fun. And i found MANY NICE THINGS!!!!

Number one, i found FRH's JAPAN PHOTOBOOK in Popular in Petaling street!!!!!!! It was around RM52... BAHHH~ Had to restrain myself from buying it. The Japan photobook is far too nice!!! And all the pics they take in Japan are SUPER DUPER NICE!!!!! Even the cover was so niceeeeeeee!! haha XD I was so happy to see it there actually because I never expected to find it here~~

AND THEN...
I went to Berjaya Times Square and of coure, went to Borders. The manga section there is far better than the one in Gardens. At least there are BROWSING COPIES!! The one in Gradens has NO browsing copies and the mangas are all WRAPPED and CELLOPHANE-TAPED!! WTH. Anyway, I read Ouran book 6 (although I havent read books 3-5 yet XD)

AFTER THAT...
I went to Sungei Wang, just wandering around aimlessly actually. The I found this cd shop. And OMG from the outside it looked soooooooooo niceeeee!!!!!! The first thing I noticed was a gigantic Boys Over Flowers poster and BOTH OSTs!!!!!! I immediately rushed inside and then I even found FRH's gongzais!! OMG I've been looking for it for a year and a half already! hehe... quite expensive though. RM 140. bahh~

I had to fight the tempation to get the BOF OSTs also. The cover was really tempting me!! All four of them looked sooooooooo cuteeeeee on the cover, especially Kim Bum!!! And the posters!!!! And the moon and stars necklace was also sold!!! haha!!

Then I went to search for Arashi stuff XD and guess what I found? I found their 2007 and 2008 concert DVD!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~ I was so happy OMG but it was kinda expensive. I was thinking whether I should get it or not!! But I got it anyway, considering it's so hard to find elsewhere and this one is probably imported. (it is, actually. it even has chinese subs XD) Well, consider this my birthday present XDDD

I left the shop with both DVDs XD The 2007 one for myself adn th 2008 one for wan ying XDD

So happy with myself!!

The concert IS EXTREMELY NICE!!! I love carnival night pt 2!!! XD
and Fight Song is so funny!! Jun had to 'fly'!! XD
